Foundation vs. Association and Expenses Concern edit
According to the page Wikimedians in Thailand/Registration, listed below are the major differences between the two entity.

This means it is viable for the formal chapter to be established as Association, however, I would like to express concern that I do not believe incorporation of the Association should incur expenses as much as the Grant requested. As a volunteer-driven organization, it may be possible for volunteer to review the Manual for the Public (like info.go.th, the Thai government initiative to centralize information for contacting the authorities) and act accordingly. --210.1.21.126 10:29, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comments. Yes! Another reason for not incorporating WMTH as a foundation is that it is not possible to request for 200,000THB from the WMF for the sole purpose of registration. In regards to your concern about the proposed budget, we would be glad if a volunteer steps forward to do this for free or at a discounted price, which unfortunately we could not find one. The quotations in this proposal are median price from >10 law firms we have surveyed.
