Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Documentons Le Design
Application received
editHi, Dizaineur, thank you for submitting this rapid grant request. We have received a high volume of requests, which may delay our response. We appreciate your patience and will review your request as soon as possible. In the meantime, I have one question for you:
- Your application says that you have two experienced editors who often attend edit-a-thons and can help with this event. Could you please add their usernames to the application?
Please watch this page for additional comments or questions. If you have any questions about the grantmaking process, let us know. We're here to help you with a successful grant!

- Hi, thank you for your reply. The editors are myself (Dizaineur) and Koulmab. We can also have support from Sarah Krichen WMFr (she is from Wikimedia France and helped with the last session). (I have updated the grant apply)

Not Funded
editHello Dizaineur thank you for submitting this grant request for consideration. Unfortunately, we will not be able to fund this request. If you look at our selection criteria you will see one of the questions we ask is around contribution record and whether you have a history of engaging with Wikimedia projects and communities. One of the ways we gauge that is by looking at the global account information. I see there that both yourself and Koulmab have less than 200 edits. Sarah Krichen WMFr I see has contributions on meta and Commons. In order to get funding for activities that involve traveling and running editathons we would like to see more than a 1000 edits in the project you plan to teach to new editors.
Lastly, you mentioned in your grant that you've worked with Wikimedia France before. Did you know that they have a Micro-finance program as well. Perhaps, you can check with them if they are willing to fund this. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 01:19, 20 February 2019 (UTC)
