Grants talk:PEG/Wikimedia Community Brazilian Group of Education and Research/Wiki Loves Monuments Brasil 2015/Report

Hi Rodrigo Padula. Thank you for this detailed report and everyone's work organizing WLM Brasil 2015. Congrats on another successful photo contest! We really appreciate your reflections on lessons learned. It sounds like partnership development is a worthwhile area to spend time and effort. Partnering with a photography school is a great model we will suggest other communities use as well. An improved monument list will definitely support an increase in coverage and number of photos. Hopefully the team can arrange for this if you organize another contest. And it is great to see the engagement and results from the editathon. More thematic editathons and online writing contests will improve photo usage on Wikimedia projects. We encourage the group to pursue more activities like these. Thank you again for a great report. @AWang (WMF): your help and guidance through this process was really important for us to reach these results. All the WMF's grants team (you, Janice, Winifred etc) gave us an incredible support. We are a new user group learning more every day. This experience for sure increased our skills and competencies to manage future projects and resources. Last year(2015) was crucial for our group, we are moving forward to generate more projects and good results for the Wikimedia Movement this year and planning a lot for 2017.
