Wikipedia Takes Rinconada

We would like to request an extension of completion date of the project from December 27, 2015 to January 16, 2016. Due to the weather condition and conflict in schedule of interested participants, the organizers and participants present decided to extend the photo and video hunting until January 9, 2016. It was also agreed that new teams and individual participants can still be accepted in the competition until January 9, 2016. Request for a change to the completion date and start date for our grant

We are requesting an extension of the project completion date for WIkimedia User Group Nigeria "WIkimedia User Group Nigeria/Wiki Photo"

1. The new proposed completion date will be 30 September 2016, and the corrected start date will be 25 March 2016.
2. We require an extension because we experienced many occurrences that were not envisaged as at the time of the planning of the proposal which led to the group in ability to work within our schedule. Some of these happenings include :

• Non availability of Photographers for some of our schedule trips.
• Disturbances by land owners that most times challenges our authority to snap structures in their domain
• Since majority of us are volunteers we could not secure majority participation during our photographic uploading session.

All the above mentioned challenges had to make us to change date on our plan and hence affected our deliverables. We request that WMF also adjust the reporting schedule for our grant so that we have enough time to finish our final report. Sincerely Olaniyan Olushola (talk) 20:26, 9 September 2016 (UTC).
