Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:
1. What content will the contest focus on, and why is it important to your community?
- This year we will focussed monuments around Oran province in west of Algeria based in this of monuments of Algeria ; The contest will focus on higher quality images and will be licensed Creative Commons uploaded in Wikimedia Commons; The value of this competition is to allow photographers to share their best photos and to discover the Algerian heritage in the world and to allow use under creative commons.
2. How will you let people know about the contest?
- By Social Media promotion (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter ) and E-mails / phones call
- Photo expedition (2 days) or Photo Exibition during different events
- By motivating and attracting a photograhs community
3. How will you judge the contest and award prizes?
- We will have a panel of judges who will set criteria for best images and use these as a basis to select the best images for local awards.
4. For photo contests, what is the strategy to get images used on projects?
- We will improve our method by bringing photographers on the protected monuments. we will also keep our winning solutions from previous competitions
5. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?

For photo contests:
- Number of participants = 50
- Number of photos uploaded to Wikimedia Commons = 300
- Number of photos used on Wikimedia projects = 30

What resources do you have? Include information on who is organizing the project, what they will do, and if you will receive support from anywhere else (in-kind donations or additional funding).
- Like every year our activities are supported by local non profits organisations they borrow us material and their rooms to organise events presentations / workshops and more . We thankfull them for all help they give to promote the open knowlege througout this contest.
Add to this we have around $389,68 in local currency (45 497,45 DZD by using rate of 10 may )
- Remaining RG WLA & WLM = $4,48
- Remaining RG WLE N°8 = $171,20
- Remaining RG WLE N°9 = $214,00
The $389,68 will be deduced from the total of the sum requested.
