A three-day conference with over a hundred Wikipedians from twenty-five countries from Central and Eastern Europe is being held in the Hotel Metropol - Ohrid from October 14 to 16. The conference under the slogan "Bringing Back Together" began with the so-called Learning day, where creativity, the influence of possible and present conflicts, and the work strategy of "Wikipedians" from Europe were discussed.
The main focus of the conference was Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia and similar projects) in the countries and communities of Central and Eastern Europe.
The three days were dedicated to various structures in the writing of articles and texts, to enrich Wikipedia in the Macedonian language, as well as to the inclusion of as many content creators as possible, which will increase the presence of the Macedonian language throughout the world.
Apart from lectures, the program was enriched with a walk around Ohrid as well as a dinner for the guests at the Biljanini Izvori restaurant.
We have 14 volunteers who selflessly and very dedicatedly helped to have a successful and well-organized conference.
We also thank the many media who broadcasted and shared the conference with the audience for this very significant event for us and for all Wikipedians around the world.
We are particularly proud and still under the strong impression that we were the organizers of the 11th annual gathering of Wikipedians from around the world.
