Wikimania 2022

From August 11 to 14, GLAM Macedonia was part of the Wikimania 2022. This conference is the 17th in a row and is a global leading Wikipedian event that is held online for the second time, and the members of GLAM Macedonia were lucky enough to follow it together with Wikipedians from Macedonia.

GLAM Macedonia organized 4 events in 4 days: two of them in Skopje one in Ohrid and one in Veles.The Skopje events were held in the office of GLAM Macedonia. In this period of 4 days, 55 participants altogether were part of those 4 events in 4 days, 25 participants were part of Skopje events and 10 participants were part of Ohrid event and 20 participants of Veles event. Wiki Clubs members, along with the other members of GLAM Macedonia, participated at the events and listened the experience from the world wide experienced Wikimedians. GLAM Macedonia members had their presentation on Wikimania, talking abou Wiki Camp.

Post Wikimania 2022 meetting

On 19 August GLAM Macedonia members held post Wikimania meeting. Аmong other things we have meeting with our member about CEE Wikipedia meeting 2022 which will be held in Ohrid this year in October. We talked about the work tasks that the volunteers will have and their responsibilities, assignment of tasks for the next period. Other things discussed:

• Programs,
• Marketing materials,
• giving work assignments,
• responsibilities of volunteers...
