Summary

Description
English: An example for how STV (single transferable vote) works. There are 7 voters and 4 candidates, named A, B, C, D, competing for 2 seats. Each row shows the vote profile of one voter.

Notes:

  • In each row and in all rounds, sum of all numbers is equal to one. This means every voter has exactly one vote. In other words, all voters have equal voting power, regardless of how they vote.
  • To count the critical votes in each round, focus on the blue region.
