Edit a thon/artfeminism-edit-a-thon-for-nigerian-female-artists-2023

The Art+Feminism edit-a-thon for Nigerian female artists is an edit-a-thon that will be carried out by members of the Kwara State Wikimedia Fan Club to increase and improve the existing Wikipedia articles on Nigerian Female Artists. An on-wiki signal on this topic brought back only 25 results using petscan. Hence the need to increase content on women artists in Nigeria that are not or are underrepresented in the free encyclopedia. This will also increase the interest of more females within the community, bridging the gender gap and promoting diversity.
