Welcome to the Flow satisfaction survey!

Flow is a structured discussion tool supported by the Collaboration team. More and more communities are using Flow and many suggestions have been made for improving it. With this survey, we want to know your opinion of the tool as a Flow user and to gather suggestions for future improvements.

At the moment, there are two different kind of talk pages on wikis: the usual ones using the wikitext and the ones using Flow, with visual editing or wikitext. Examples below are in the French language; the most important thing is to identify the different structures:

  • Conversation using wikitext (reading mode):
  • Conversation using wikitext (edit mode):
  • Conversation using Flow:

If there are aspects of Flow you don't find useful, what are they? What improvements would you like to see?
Flow users have suggested the following actions are missing in Flow. Please rank these action by moving items, from 1 (absolute need) to 5 (don’t need).
  • It's hard to find specific topics. Searching would help.
  • It's hard to focus on a specific group of topics. Being able to filter or categorize topics would make it easy to focus on those needing your attention.
  • It's hard to manage and organize the conversation. Being able to move topics to a different page would help keeping the boards more clear.
  • It's hard to keep track different conversations that all take place on different pages. Being able to view all my Flow activity at once on a single page, with easy to read updates, would help
  • It's hard to track the evolution of a conversation. Better support for checking the history of a conversation, its changes, and clearing vandalism would be helpful.
