Based on CentralNotice/Request/Picture of the Year 2022 we should use Special:CentralNoticeBanners/edit/POTY_2020_R1_Seddon again instead of the old 2018 banner.

I don't think the conflict with other banners is a huge issue, that basically happens every year with POTY. Suggestion: Run one campaign for Commons on normal priority and a second campaign for all other projects (looking at the calendar there are even more conflicts than the two mentioned) with low priority, to allow banners which are probably more closely related to the individual wikis to be shown first. @Rhododendrites just noting that per CentralNotice/Request/Deactivate almost all banners for Catalan Wikipedia banners need to be translated to Catalan and get community approval at Catalan wiki if you want to show them to Catalan projects. Johannnes89 (talk) 15:19, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know they do not monitor CN and expect users to either ask at cawiki or abstain from showing the banner at ca-projects (which is the setting DerHexer has chosen).

Related: There are a couple of translations at the old banner [1] (translated to 109 languages) which could be used for the new banner [2] (translated to 71 languages). If you check the translations via Google Translate you could use them for the new banner (-> translation link). Per CentralNotice/Usage guidelines#Campaign implementation it's not well regarded to show English banners to non-English projects. Johannnes89 (talk) 16:00, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I can't replicate the issue, but apparently on some screens the background images is repeated (that's how I understand @Lvova's request [3]) which should be avoided using background-repeat: no-repeat; (I think in the .cbnnr-main section, correct?)
