Наши действия

Нераскрытое оплачиваемое участие и другие виды рекламы являются одной из форм принуждение своей точки зрения с целью продвижения или публикации объекта (обычно людей, компаний или продуктов) в целях маркетинга, управления репутацией или поисковой оптимизации.

Обычно эти усилия охватывают несколько проектов Викимедии. В течение долгого времени отсутствие координации между вики-сайтами приводило к неэффективным процедурам, с удвоением усилий по отдельным проектам. Проект по борьбе со спамом призван обеспечить координацию для случаев кросс-вики спама. Базовый подход заключается в следующем:

исследовать подозрительные учетные записи участников
синтезировать результаты наших опросов о многоликости и отправлять запросы верификаторам IP-адресов в соответствующих проектах Викимедии
заблокировать проблемные аккаунты
оповещать сообщества обо всех затронутых вики-сайтах и отменять или удалять рекламный контент, когда это возможно
следить долгосрочно за возможным возвратом проблемных участников

Что не входит в прерогативы проекта:

рекламный спам, который касается только одного вики: обратитесь к местным администраторам
спам-боты и кросс-вики-вандализм: сообщайте о этом, пожалуйста, по адресу Steward requests/Global
