This is an Impact report for the first quarter (Q1, January through March) on the 2023 APG grant to Shared Knowledge, with special consideration given to the 2023 Annual plan.

The Macedonian edition of the international Wiki Loves Folklore 2023. It lasted from February 1 to March 31.

All these projects and activities are part of the Shared Knowledge's Annual Plan. This section will describe how the activities progressed during the First quarter.

Education & Science Program

1. Students Mentorship

Goals met by this activity

According to our metrics this program for the entire year should have at least 105 total participants. 36 participants got involved in this quarter. Thus, 34.2% of the total participants annual quota is achieved. There 31 new participants among these two men (100 new people projected; 31% progress). According to our total pages quota, in 2023 at least 400 pages in total should be covered. So far, 26 content pages were covered and that is 6.5% progress.

2. Wikiexperiments

Goals met by this activity

Within this project, we had 5 total participants. With this 5 participants, there is a 50% progress according to the annual total participants quota. Two people were new which makes up 25% progress (8 NP projected). 90 total content pages were covered out of the annually planned 200 (45% success).

3. Editing Competitions

Goals met by this activity

Traditionally one competition was held in this quarter. We had 11 total participants of which 8 competitors and 3 jury members. With this being said, this is 36.6 % out of the 30 annually planned participants. When it comes to new participants, two were new and they represent 33% out of the planned annual new participants quota (6). The achieved total content pages is 686 compared to the annual 840 content pages which is 81.6% progress.

4. Editing Days

Goals met by this activity

In this 26 editions we had participation of 7 different Wikipedians. The annual total participants quota is 18 which means a progress of 38,8%. There were no new participants out of the 3 as projected minimal required quota. The total covered content pages is 386 out of 2000 total annual content pages which is 19.3%.

5. Editing Weekends

Goals met by this activity

12 editions of various topics were held. We had 8 people participating out of the planned 11. That is achievement of 72.7%. There were no new participants in this quarter (1 projected). There were 322 content pages covered out of the total 1500 total annual planned pages which is 21.4% progress.

6. 1Lib1Ref

Goals met by this activity

15 total participants are planned. 4 people were part of it, of which 3 were contesters and the success of the TP metric is 26.6. 5 new participants are projected but there was no newly joined users. The achieved TCP is 1430 that makes 143% overachievement (100 TCP planned).

7. WikiSketch Lessons

Goals met by this activity

15 people were part of this project which is 37.5% out of the projected 40 participants. There were 9 new participants in Q1 and that is 23.6 success out of the 38 planned new participants. Regarding the content pages, 44 content pages were covered out of 160 total annual planned content pages which means 27.5% was achieved.

8. Geoexpeditions

Goals met by this activity

According to our total participants quota, we should have 6 participants. We had 4 people participating which means the quota was covered with 67% in this project. There were no new people of the planned 2 new participants. The TCP (150 planned) results could not be provided due to current and active progress of editing and coverage.

9. Wiki Loves Folklore 2023

Goals met by this activity

According to our total participants quota, we should have 20 participants. We had 23 people participating which means the quota was covered with 114% achievement in this project. There were 11 new people of the planned new 10 participants. This is a 110% progress. In this quarter there were 5618 content pages covered in total, out of the 400 total planned content pages for the year (1404% overachievement).

10. WikiVillage

Goals met by this activity

There was 1 total participant and that makes 20% out of the 5 projected participants. There was no new participants (planned 3 new people). The projected total metrics is 100 total content pages and we manage to cover 50 total content pages which is 50% progress.

11. MakSport

Goals met by this activity

In the first quarter, there were 4 participants out of the total planned annual participants which is 20. This means 20% of the projection is made. There was 1 new participant out of the total 18 planned new participants for the year and these metrics shows 5.5% progress. About the content pages, 34 content pages were covered out of the total annual planned content pages, which is 800, is 4.2%.

12. Exhibitions

Goals met by this activity

The event was off the plan, so there was now metric projection. The participants number was 87 out of which 65 were new. The TCP summed up to 66 units.
