Venue edit

The Conference venue is Goto10, located at Hammarby Kaj 10D in Södra Hammarbyhamnen, Stockholm (map). Wikimedia Sverige's office is located in the same building. If you arrive during the day you can visit Goto10 and work or hang out there, the staff at the café will let you in if you tell them you are here for the conference.

Accommodation edit

Accommodation for the participants are reserved at the nearby Motel L on Hammarby allé 41. The hotel is located very close to the conference venue. It is located in walking distance south to Södermalm, with a great mix of architecture, trendy shops and cozy cafés. The public transport in Stockholm is excellent, for people that would like to explorer the city further. Check-in is guaranteed from 15.00, but the rooms might be available earlier if you ask. Luggage can be stored at the hotel during the day.

Reservations edit

Wikimedia Sverige event team will make reservations of up to two nights for all registered participants (Friday and Saturday) at the hotel. Scholarships will cover accommodation costs for participants from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia and Lithuania. Accommodation cost for other participants from Estonia, Norway and Sweden will be covered by each affiliate.

Book extra nights edit

Any extra nights before or after the meeting should be booked by each participant individually directly with the hotel and follow instructions posted here. Extra nights are not covered by scholarships. Costs per night is 725 SEK and includes breakfast and wifi. All rooms are single occupancy. This is a competitive rate in Stockholm.

Travel arrangements edit

Scholarships will cover travel costs for participants from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia and Lithuania. Upon submitting details at registration, Wikimedia Sverige will connect traveling participants with a travel agency ("Tranås resebyrå") who will contact participants directly to arrange for round-trip travel.

Traveling participants from Sweden will get travel support from Tranås resebyrå with costs covered by Wikimedia Sverige.

Travel cost for participants from Estonia and Norway will be covered by each affiliate, who are also responsible for flight bookings and travel arrangements for their participants.

Catering edit

Breakfast buffet is included in the price of the hotel room. Furthermore, at the conference venue free lunch, and coffee breaks will be provided.

A social dinner will be provided on the Friday, with alcohol free beverages. The dinner is sponsored by the Internet Foundation in Sweden.

Internet edit

The Motel L offers free wifi access in the rooms and in all public spaces.

The conference venue Goto10 offers free wifi access throughout the venue and the duration of the meeting.
