Abstract:
This session explores the collaborative world of Wikibooks, focusing on the importance of writing women's biographies. We'll delve into the educational value of accessible biographies, highlighting the need for a diverse representation of the world: Through fostering partnerships between partners, educators and Wikimedia editors, we can empower a new generation of citizens to learn about achievements of remarkable women, explore strategies for contributing in a collaborative way and celebrate the power of storytelling using the Wikimedia projects as a educational tool. |
