edit

Workshop at Charentsavan high school, May 31, 2016

Narine Muradyan the psychologist of the Mesrop Mashtots school of Charentsavan applied to participate to the very first wikiseminar organized in May 2015 in Aghveran. Returning home Narine continued actively edit Wikipedia mainly on art themes creating a number of articles and templates about paintings. A few months later, Narine began teaching her students wiki-editing tools and soon they were involved in Wikipedia Education program. Her students edit so actively that 6 of them were chosen to participate in WikiCamp 2016. Narine on involving her students in editing process:

When I have been editing for a couple of months and have already mastered my editing skills, I decided to involve my students in editing Wikipedia as well. At the Winter WikiCamp 2016, I was a team leader and seeing the campers unity and solidarity, I decided to involve my students in this cool program. After talking to the head of the school who positively responded to my offer we did our first steps. Wikipedia is one of the best ways of self-perfection for me.

Narine Muradyan has created 74 articles and done 1857 global edits. She was also one of the teachers to be chosen to participate in Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2016 organized in Dilijan, Armenia.
