| Abstract:
Wiki Loves Africa (WLA) is an annual continent-wide competition that shifts the visual narrative of Africa by encouraging people to contribute Africa-relevant media (photos, video, or audio) relevant to an annual theme. Wikimedia Morocco, as several other African communities, has participated and organized this competition during the last few years. This presentation/submission is an opportunity to look back and reflect on the recent past editions, giving thus the opportunity to share experiences and lessons from these editions. To support the discussions, there will be a background presentation walking us through some moments of recents participation including, among other things, some statistics, administration (grants, reports), activities (photowalks, sponsoring, jury), etc. |

The attendes will hear about the Moroccan experience in organizing WLA. There will be an opportunity for the attendees to share lessons/challenges from their experiences in WLA. | |||
