User script to view subcategories

Hi Titore,

If you remember, you participated in the 2019 Community Wishlist Survey, including the discussion for a button to easily view subcategories (Community Wishlist Survey 2019/Categories/Button to show subcategories).

I sent you this MassMessage because I wanted to let you know that I have made a user script to do this.

If you are interested in using it, just add mw.loader.load('//'); to your global javascript page, or to your wiki-specific common.js page. This imports the code at m:User:DannyS712/Subcategories.js.

If you want to learn more, there is documentation for the script available at w:en:User:DannyS712/Subcategories. If you would like to discuss the script, talk to me at m:User talk:DannyS712.

Abuse filter helper

Hi Titore, I've seen your question at User talk:WikiBayer#Abuse filter #300. You might want to consider applying for global abuse filter helper at SRGP#Requests for other global permissions like other admins from large wikis did as well in the pasts months, e.g. [1][2]. That way you'll have it easier to deal with false positives. Johannnes89 (talk) 17:06, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey Johannnes89, yeah I've been thinking about it since the global filters were enabled on large projects, but I've never really felt the need for it until recently. I'll probably apply one day. :) Titore (talk) 17:54, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
