I ask you to follow the wmf:Terms of use when you import text from a page/project to another; you just have to add a link to the source page in the edit summary, so it's quite easy but necessary to give attribution and the such. Someone has deleted my user & talk pages

Hi there, I have not been able to discover where to report this problem, so please would you point me in the right direction ? I have been registered on Wikipedia for a couple of years. For no apparent reason, my user & talk pages have completely disappeared. Who do I ask for help, and how do I discover if this is a technical problem or vandalism ? Thanks for any help you can give. Hello! I think your userpages are still there, but they are on the English Wikipedia -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Darkman101. This site that we're on now is meta.wikimedia.org, also called meta-wiki. It is not Wikipedia, but a different site which is used to coordinate around all of the different language versions. Hi again, yes, you are right, they are still there ! It seems I came to meta-wiki by clicking on a Wikipedia link, and noticed that my username and talk at the top of the page had browned out, and appeared to have disappeared. The original table was published at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:The_Speed_of_Speedy_Deletions, Sub-section: Speedy deletions. The data is required to demonstrate:

• Any decline/increase in the creation of new articles in the sample period
• Any decline/increase in the deletion of new articles in the sample period
• Deletion of new articles expressed as percentages of creations of new articles, by quarter year over the sample period

• Data required: All columns in the original table 'Speedy deletions'
• Sample period: August 2009 through August 2011
• Sample users: ALL users in the period

Graphs required: For the sample period by quarter year, curves for:

• New articles created
• Total CSD deletions

The research at new page patroller workload providfed some interesting discussion that hlped towards identifying areas of concern, but somehow it got interpreted that patrolles are suffering from stress, overload, or burn-out, where nothing of that kind was reported or demonstrated by any research. A user from en.Wiki has prepared performance details on individual patrollers.

I unfortunately know nothing about the technical methods of extraction and extrapolation of data, so anything you, or the person who prepared the original table can do would be much appreciated, I don't need this overnight, but it would be good to be able to report at a meeting this week that something is underway.

Popular articles are like corners now. People go to war over them. New users showing up trying to make changes are instantly swatted down and put in their place and treated like crap. Ten years ago Wikipedia was virgin territory. All the corners were open.
