User talk:Max Klemm (WMDE)/ FileImporter Announcement
Auto-confirmed
editThe page says:
- If you are an auto-confirmed user (a user with more than ten edits)
The actual conditions for becoming an auto-confirmed user are quite different on every wiki, including wikis in the same languages.
I recommend simply removing the part in the parentheses. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 09:23, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advise, I will do. --For the Technical Wishes Team: Max Klemm (WMDE) (talk) 09:25, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
Full stop
editHi Max Klemm (WMDE),
Using the full stop as in "1. Step", "2. Step", and so on, is common in German to mean "first step", "second step". It may also be common in some other languages, but not in English.
This is not just wrong for English, but also makes it hard to translate for people who know English and are not familiar with this German convention.
I recommend changing to "Step 1", "Step 2", or simply a numbered list. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 09:26, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
Note on date
editThe date mentioned "August 7" is preceded by "until," but the context indicates that the features are going to be default features. Can you double check if August 7 will be a commencement date or an end date. Haytham Abulela talk 14:57, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
