Block
editHello. I have placed a temporary block on your account, due to your edits on He3nry’s talk page. Your actions constitute harassment, and could not be permitted to continue. There are local procedures on the German Wikipedia to appeal your block, but spam-pinging the blocking admin’s Meta-Wiki talk page is not that, or acceptable conduct. This is a preventative block, and if you communicate that you will not continue harassing He3nry here, I will have no issue in unblocking your account. Best regards, Vermont (talk) 20:01, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Vermont: Hello, I was trying to trigger a procedure at de:WP:SPP for months. In my opinion, I was blocked for no valid reason and I wanted to discuss it there. So I contacted He3nry, who also is admin, with email for many times, but there was no reaction. I contacted sperren@wikimedia.org for many times, but there was no reaction. And I contacted him with
{{Ping|Name eines Admins}} – Sperrprüfung gewünscht. --~~~~
(as described on de:WP:SPP) but there was no reaction. What is the correct way to trigger a procedure at de:WP:SPP? All I want is to tell him that I want a procedure at de:WP:SPP, so that he can unblock my account. --Maincomb (talk) 22:52, 10 February 2022 (UTC)- Interesting. You technically still have talk page access, but He3nry fully protected the page. That is quite odd. I am unsure of local dewiki policy, but I am certain that spam-pinging dewiki admins on Meta will not have a positive result. I've unblocked your account on Meta, and please refrain from continuing your previous activity here. German Wikipedia blocks need to be handled there, and if you have exhausted local appeal mechanisms (which I am unsure on), it does not mean that Meta is the next step. - de.WP is said to be very strict and based on many rules. It is common use that a blocked user cannot access anything, but one can email to the admin or to sperren@wikimedia.org - I did this for a long time without success. --Maincomb (talk) 11:14, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
