I am NOT going to translate my TALK page...

... I am ENGLISH... and wish to talk to ENGLISH talking people, if they cannot FIND a TRANSLATOR, then they can look elsewhere... my TALK page does NOT require a TRANSLATION...

It seems that you have thought someone was trying to translate your talk page. Actually, he just welcomed you and the template contains a script to automatically show languages other than English if you set such language on your preferences. You are of course welcome to remove that message from your talk page, as you did, but please don't think that it was some sort of imposed translation on you, it was just a standard template.
