- Can I do the check, because I don't know if there is one which is fluent in Maltese or is from Malta. Chrisportelli 20:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- I would prefer if someone else did the check (there are many, see mt:Category:User mt-N for example). But if you cannot find anyone else, I assume you could. Cbrown1023 talk 23:03, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- When it's done being copyedited, could you update the status?

"Help us with translations!"Edit
Hey Chrisportelli, thanks for translating the notices for Wikimania into Malti! However, we don't have a translation for "Help us with translations!" (other languages already had it, yours did not :-(). Would you mind translating it here? Thanks! Cbrown1023 talk 20:30, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
Heya Chris, thanks for all your help with Board elections translations! You just translated part of the results page, but could you do the content in <!-- --> too? If you translate that too, we can just update it ourselves when the results come out (it makes less work for you in the end). Cbrown1023 talk 19:45, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

I noticed that you translated the fundraiser's core messages into Malti (mt), thank you for your help! Although the fundraiser is over, your translation work will still be used until next November (when we get new forms).
Unfortunately, there are some missing messages and pages that were not included in the original request. Would you mind translating these supplementary messages too?
Thank you so much for your swift translating action!Klyman 20:29, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
I want to thank you for your help translating the Malti core messages, we have a few more translations to go... The 2010 Fundraiser is live and has greatly benefited from all the contributions from our translators. Throughout the fundraiser there will continue to be a need for help with translating and localizing messages. Currently, the core messages need to be updated, as there have been recent additions to the request. You can find all translation requests at the translation hub on meta and you can follow the progress of the fundraiser in real time by tracking the fundraiser statistics. Also if you haven't already, you can subscribe to the translators-l mailing list for all new requests and major changes. Many thanks for your help in truly making this a global fundraiser that you can edit.Klyman 18:33, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

Translator, We need you!Edit
You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.
Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.
If you would be interested please take a look at this little sign-up survey and fill it out http://survey.wikimedia.org/index.php?sid=13638&newtest=Y&lang=en. With that we can start building a list of people and filling any gaps in the languages we serve.
