Barry was an honoured guest at W10 and his being an employee of WMF in no way detracts from the fact that we treat our guests as one of us, so we consider it a community picture. As far as good is considered, some of the other images we have are worse. The really good ones require me to search out Wikipedians and ask them to upload images. To my surprise, we had not uploaded them to Commons, which I shall do very soon. However, I am finding another one for this page. He he he, my father-in-law is with me today & uploading the W10 images he took to Commons on my request but he forgets to log out & I forget to login and getting login errors thinking I'm already logged in. No issues, Beria, thanks for pointing out that it is a lousy pic (though of value to the Pune community). W10 was our first real effort :). We tend to get sentimental about it. As of this moment 1193 images have been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons in this category but the counter shows zero. Can you please help? AshLin 06:47, 28 August 2011 (UTC) WIki Loves Monuments CentralNotice Campaign Hey Beria, I saw your note on The Central Notice calendar that you planned on running banners for all of September both to loggedin and logged out users and saw that you had set it up and activated it to be ready. I have to say I think that is overkill at the moment and should be rethought. I left a similar note on Multichill's talk page since he was the contact. I can understand wanting to use central notice to reach out and I could even understand a lower % for logged in users all month (though I still think that would be a bit over what's necessary) but I think doing it for logged out users for a month (no matter the percentage) is too much. Perhaps a week at a low percentage for both (10-20%)? and then turn off logged out users leaving it on for logged in? Galio told me that there were problems in the mailing list so a week later I wrote a copy of the application in the Iberocoop talk page.
