IRC cloak request edit

Hi Arthur! I see that you've submitted a request for a cloak on Libera Chat, but it looks like you've not selected what sort of cloak you want when submitting the form - it's effectively a blank request that I can't really do anything with. Please can you resubmit the request and ensure that you choose the type of request when prompted? As a side note, JavaScript is currently required by the form - I've seen this happen before and it was caused by a lack of JavaScript in the browser (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T331934) - and I suspect this is what's happened here. stwalkerster (talk) 23:28, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Stwalkerster,
Yep. I had Javascript disabled. I've submitted a new request. Thanks! Arthur Taylor (WMDE) (talk) 07:15, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi Arthur - I have seen your messages, I'm just usually not available during the morning EST, and by the time I saw your last message, your cloak had already been applied, so that's why I didn't try and reach out. It does now read @wikimedia/Arthur-Taylor-WMDE -- Amanda (she/her) 13:27, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ah - thank you. I wasn't sure exactly what to look for - I still see is connecting from <IP> in the 'whois' for myself, but I don't know what other people see. And for some reason wmobot has stopped replying to my messages so I can't check the status that way. But I also see ~Arthur@wikimedia/Arthur-Taylor-WMDE, so I guess this is resolved. Thanks again for the support! Arthur Taylor (WMDE) (talk) 13:55, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
You (and Libera Staff) will always see that, but others won't. If you connect again from a second client, you can check it yourself :) stwalkerster (talk) 13:58, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
