Do you know "Москва, Олимпийский проспект, 18/1"? edit

@Sjoerddebruin, MisterSynergy, Ovagner, and Infovarius: it is terrible idea to import half-fake geo-databases, have fewer objects but all real. D1gggg (talk) 13:25, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

correct, but possibly (likely) outdated info:

@Anvilaquarius: it is very strange that 1. website is down 2. phone +7 (495) 931-98-73 is not dialable 3. facebook group is dead since mid 2013, but cinema is still active (~4-5 years! in Moscow)
I don't blame you (I actually impressed you had time to care about all cinemas, even like this one), but organizations and facilities are difficult to edit in any setting. D1gggg (talk) 18:01, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Well, make it "former cinema" then, but onviously at some time some kind of cinema or movie club existed there, didn't it? --Anvilaquarius (talk) 18:12, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
I was puzzled with "former ..." items when I started, but we should prefer P576 or P2669 as regular properties instead.
Consider how problematic it is to create, translate and find matching "former ..." for every "park", "cinema", "museum" e.t.c
Another option is to use qualifiers P580/P582 for specific claims D1gggg (talk) 18:21, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
P576=unknown in this situation. D1gggg (talk) 18:35, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

very

Of course, the P31 whould be "cinema" without "former", but the description may well include such things, I think. It is very helpful for disambiguation, which is what descriptions are all about. --Anvilaquarius (talk) 18:53, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Now I see what do you mean, I agree on "former ..." in description(s) of course D1gggg (talk) 19:01, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand now: does the cinema exist now? --Infovarius (talk) 15:22, 11 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Mix'n'match and soweego: call for support edit

Dear @Anvilaquarius:

       TL;DR:

First, thank you for being a Mix'n'match [1] user.

Does the name soweego ring you a bell?
It's a machine learning system that links Wikidata to large catalogs [2].
It's a close friend of Mix'n'match, which mainly caters for small catalogs.

The latest catalogs uploaded by soweego need some love: why don't you check them out?
If you are a music enthusiast, Discogs and MusicBrainz are what you need: musicians [3], [4], bands [5], [6], and records [7], [8].
Are you passionate about cinema? IMDb is there with actors [9], directors [10], musicians [11], producers [12], writers [13], and movies [14].

I would be really grateful if you could support soweego with a GitHub star:
https://github.com/Wikidata/soweego

Best,
