Unblock request declined
This blocked user has had their unblock request reviewed by one or more administrators, who has/have reviewed and declined this request. Request reason: I am trying to edit from a hotel, using hotel wifi, but I am blocked. I was told on IRC that I cannot edit my talk page on the English Wikipedia because global blocks revoke talk page access, so I am appealing the global block here.
Decline reason: :The unblock request is only for local blocks on metawiki, steward blocks are different. This block only impacts IP addresses editing, and the reasoning for its use is solid.
. That aside, please log into your account to edit. There is nothing in this block that will impact enWP, that is a separate block, though probably for the same problems. I have modified the block there to be a softer block, so you can log in their with your account to edit.
