AXM also known Ahmed X. Medien is an information integrity strategist who works actively on activating multi-stakeholder conversation around internet governance and (social) platform regulation. Now, I finding a new vocation and passion in human-AI interactions and developing new AI bots in the areas of reproducing political speech and news articles. My work centers around testing and incorporating "safe" political speech, credibility signals into new synthetic text.

I am a systems engineer turned community organizer. Throughout my decade of experience in internet service ventures and non-profits, project management, I worked as a chair for global conferences, managing research and knowledge production projects, and communication. My major fortes are mentoring and coalition-building.

I am very in as much passionate about the open knowledge movements. I was a manager and major champion of the grants research programme known as WikiCredibility Research Grants program or WikiCred launched in 2020 after WikiConference North America and with input from that community and the Wikimedian community writ large. Throughout my work with one community building organization known as Hacks/Hackers. WikiCred grants programme funded over 20 research and prototype projects since 2020. Some of these projects featured in the WikiConference North America in 2020, 2021 and 2023.
