Talk:Wikimedia Foundation Executive Director Transition Team/2016
English
editI've done some copyediting of the language used on this page, I hope that is OK. I'm not too sure how to clarify "It will perform in alignment and permanent exchange with the entire Board." - I think this means "it will regularly communicate its work with the entire board to make sure that it is aligned with the aims of the entire board", but it's not obvious. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 20:13, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, Mike. Your reading is right, I take it to the front page. Alice Wiegand (talk) 20:29, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
Fail
editThis will become once more an fail, an epic fail. Once more the Community is not involved in the team. There are more Staff than Community. All the attempts for more Community engagement are empty words. Marcus Cyron (talk) 16:14, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
- We have one community member on the committee User:Pundit. And the two staff involved have good heads on their shoulders. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 16:52, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Email address for discrete candidate submission
editHi, Alice Wiegand. Somewhere I saw that y'all are only taking input from us for one week and that we should email candidates to you discretely to ensure the candidate's privacy. What is that email address? I cannot for the life of me rekindle it. Ping me back. Cheers! Checkingfax (talk) 01:05, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Checkingfax:, the address is edsearch (at) wikimedia.org. Alice Wiegand (talk) 19:39, 7 June 2016 (UTC)
