Accommodation edit

I'm glad 60 % accepted a twin room. Can we do better? --Nemo 20:27, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Nemo! I'm not sure that I'm getting your point. Could you elaborate your question a bit more, please? Cheers, --Cornelius Kibelka (WMDE) (talk) 08:56, 3 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'm wondering whether we can reach higher levels of twin rooms acceptance, to reduce costs. My assumption is that single rooms are a suboptimal usage of resources. --Nemo 21:36, 3 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Travel costs for participants? edit

I don't see travel costs for participants in the budget. Does that appear in some other budget? --Nealmcb 21:50, 29. Jan. 2018‎ (UTC)

Hello Nealmcb:
our grant budget did not cover the travel costs, because travel was arranged (and thus paid) by the Wikimedia Foundation directly. --Cornelius Kibelka (WMDE) (talk) 15:42, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi Nealmcb. Apologies I am just seeing this comment now. The travel costs paid directly by WMF totaled 46,537 USD. Alex Wang (WMF) (talk) 00:51, 20 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
