It’s a f**king joke that Kotava, which has a small community of hobbyists, got a Wikipedia before Toki Pona, which has a much larger community. “But Kotava has an ISO code!” These codes are assigned by SIL, which is a Christian missionary organization that has a massive hateb*ner for conlangs, and has since the late 2000s-early 2010s. In fact, the only reason Kotava has a code is that it was grandfathered in. Relying on codes created by a Christian missionary organization is a blatant violation of NPOV. We should use “art-x” IETF codes for conlangs that SIL refuses to recognize (such as “art-x-tokipona”, “art-x-solresol”, “art-x-aui”...) 75.154.241.121 01:22, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
