Create a MassMessage list to warn about new discussionsEdit

Unless someone thinks that would be a problem for creating some kind of bias or anything, I suggest we create an opt-in list to warn those interested on being notified whenever a RfC is created.

That could also be useful for users that are not so often present on Meta to be warned on their home-wikis and can avoid any possible bias of discussions being frequented mostly by Meta users. —Teles «Talk ˱C L @ S˲» 04:06, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

To prevent long discussions and lack of consensus, I think we should have a mass message. Most people are not in Meta very often. Thingofme (talk) 12:57, 7 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

How to open Rfc?Edit

I am interested in what the wider community thinks about the way of discussion on the Croatian Wikipedia(Reliable sources/Noticeboard), that is, the way in which the quality of sources is discussed. In other words, a personal opinion about a source(RS), historian etc, is given there. Reviews, opinions of other historians, etc. are not presented as evidence, but personal private opinion is used without any proof in something. Given that such a way of discussion is widespread and from the administrators themselves, I think that this is not a normal situation because the other editors are not equal in such discussions. I have experience with the English Wikipedia and there sources refute sources. Our private opinion about a source means nothing in terms of evidence. We are talking only about academic sources, scientific papers or book of historians.

This is my reason, but I don't know how to compile Rfc properly, so I would ask for help. Thank you. Mikola22 (talk) 09:08, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I opened the Rfc on my page, but I see that it only says my name in thwe link, so I don't know on which page exactly I should open the Rfc? --Mikola22 (talk) 19:09, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
