Since then, Arabic Wikipedia has experienced steady and incremental growth, with students contributing over 7 million bytes of information in the 2013 fall term alone.

Women Scientists Workshop Development Update

  • f/g: The Women Scientists Workshop Development aims at empowering female college students by encouraging them to edit Wikipedia articles on women scientist. Liz Baijalieh, a human services major at Loyola University Chicago, has found that the workshops have fostered a passion in her to contribute content in hopes of bridging Wikipedia’s gender gap, “A month after school ended, I’m still putting new articles together. This is a way for me to make an impact on the world. And I plan to take full advantage of it.”
