Requests for new languages/Wikisource Eastern Punjabi

This proposal has been approved. The Board of Trustees and language committee have deemed that there is sufficient grounds and community to create the new language project. A committee member provided the following comment: |
- The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
- The community needs to complete required MediaWiki interface translations in that language (about localization, translatewiki, check completion).
- The community needs to discuss and complete the settings table below:

Proposal edit
I think Punjabi Language must have a Wikisource of its own. --Satdeep gill (talk) 09:45, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
We have been working for some time have and have uploaded many texts on the Multilingual Wikisource. I think its time that we have a separate domain for Punjabi Wikisource. Besides this, a few writers have started donating their books and more will follow.--Satdeep Gill (talk) 15:13, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
(see Phabricator task T149522) The main page on sourceswiki can be found here, in the Category:ਪੰਜਾਬੀ (Category Punjabi) there are some 434 pages today. Might be @Satdeep gill: could inform us how many (approx.) users are working there, I don't know the amount. But they seem to be OK in the last time. @-jkb-: Many members of the Punjabi community have contributed to Wikisource in the past. Recently, we also organized a meetup focusing on Wikisource. Last month there were 9 active users. --Satdeep Gill (talk) 15:58, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

Remark from sourceswiki / Oldwikisource: @Millosh:there is an activity with Punjabi texts since 2012 / 2013 (see e.g. here) with a huge amount of pages yet; might be the proposal to edit now on incubator ws/pa could be a bit iritating to the users - somebody would have to move all pages from sourceswiki to the incubator and then, when OK, to move it again to the new url address. -jkb- 23:29, 12 February 2017 (UTC) (bct over there)
