- The community needs to develop an active test project; it must remain active until approval (automated statistics, recent changes). It is generally considered active if the analysis lists at least three active, not-grayed-out editors listed in the sections for the previous few months.
- The community needs to complete required MediaWiki interface translations in that language (about localization, translatewiki, check completion).
- The community needs to discuss and complete the settings table below:

Nowadays many people can read Cyrillic texts [1]and it is getting more popular to write in Cyrillic (especially in one's nicks) thus we should start a new language.
Arguments in favour edit
- It enables Russians to sing English lyrics more easily: [2].
Arguments Against edit
- Oppose for the following reasons:
- 1. English is neither listed in the Official languages of Russia, nor in the unofficial languages of Russia.
- 2. Their is no history of English immigrants settling within the Russian or Soviet occupied regions. Hence there never existed an English minority group within the Russosphere. If Alaska had remained part of Russia till today and English gold/oil miners settled into Alaskan territory, then it would be a different story.
- 3. All English/American expats in Russia today still read and write in the latin alphabet. The Russian government does not compel them to write English in cyrillic, do they?

I assume you can make a font that transliterate English from Latin alphabet into Cyrillic to achieve what you want to achieve? Or if Cyrillic English is actually desirable then there are language converter.C933103 (talk) 23:32, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
