- need to simplify the structure;
- clarify the targeted audience/s;
- think about the user's experience and strategies to motivate user to implement OA policies;
- consider including video, audio or images besides text-based content;
- introduction: clarify terms such as open access and open sources, explain the motivation behind the guidelines and their goals;
- table of content: clarify titles of the subsections by adding a subtitle;
- keep in mind legal aspects of sharing data: e.g., privacy and anonymisation;
- underline the collective nature of OS;
- think about the guidelines not as an isolated object but consider also its relationship to training and implementation by partners;
- look into partners' OA policies and acknowledge the different roles involved in the process at an institutional level;
- focus on the outputs as structuring element of the guidelines;
- acknowledge that OS is in a phase of transformation: provide users with the tools they need in their everyday practice right now, but also consider the longterm relevance of the guidelines;
- language: consider translating the guidelines, maybe delegate to partners.
