Bot flag not granted. Please give us list of specific replacement your bot is going to implement and reapply then. vvvt 17:08, 16 March 2010 (UTC)}}[reply]
I would like to request a bot flag for my bot DvtBot. This bot do replace and manage category using replace.py, category.py. This Bot has bot flags in kowiki. And this bot is based on Pywikipediabot. thanks. --Devunt 15:08, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Support, why not. —Innv {ru-ws} 02:10, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Question: I understand the python scripts in question, but Meta doesn't get a whole lot of that sort of work really. If you don't mind my asking, what's the actual normal purpose of the bot going to be? What is it going to be working on, here? Sukida 21:17, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- yes. DvtBot is working in here. (meta) and fixing redirect and manage category(It will be korean category. like Category:대화방). thanks. --Devunt 05:03, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I, too, would like a list of specific tasks. Thanks, –Juliancolton | Talk 22:22, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Could you please provide a detailed list of tasks the bot performs? Thanks, --Church of emacs talk · contrib 17:26, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry but given that meta allows global bots, the problem with the double redirects is already resolved, and, about the categories I think that we do not have a high level of renames as some other bigger wikis have. Unless you have a specific project/tasks in mind (which have been asked above) I think that there is no need. I might change my mind if you can show us a specific task not covered by other already approved bots. Thanks, — Dferg (talk) 15:21, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Agree with both Dferg and JC. Also, can this be closed soon; this has been waiting for a month. Pmlineditor ∞ 12:17, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
