Support = 14, Oppose = 1, Neutral = 0 — 93,33% → consensus → status promoted — VasilievV 2 18:07, 26 May 2008 (UTC) I'm nominating myself for adminship. I'm Erwin, which is my SUL username with conflicts, but use the name Erwin85 for my toolserver account, pywikipedia access and on IRC. I'm a bureaucrat on nlwiki, my home wiki, and a sysop on nds-nlwiki and nlwikibooks.[reply]
I'm requesting adminship to help fight cross wiki spam, i.e. be able to edit the spam blacklist. I do this both by live monitoring of the relevant IRC channels and by checking automated bot reports. Being an administrator would help when catching a spammer red handed. Although I do plan to continue checking reports, which may be a few hours or days old.
A list of my active user accounts is available at User:Erwin/Matrix and I have more than 100 contributions here. Global contributions: Erwin - Erwin85

- Oppose - sorry but looking through your edits, you really don't have much cross-wiki edits and nearly 50% of your 261 edits is to your userspace. Meta will become a very powerful wiki in a couple of months and we would prefer a person with a lot more experience on Meta...--Cometstyles 22:28, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- dumb, unrelated question for Cometstyles -- I'm not feeling more power around here yet -- what's about to happen in the next couple of months? --A. B. (talk) 14:39, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Not dumb, I think. But I suppose Cometstyles is referring to global blocking. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 14:41, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Which is going to be stewards, not admins, it looks like. Though perhaps that wasn't the case when the comment was made..? – Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 12:14, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
