Wiki pour le changement climatique 2023 : Droit à un environnement sain - Région du Maghreb

L'objectif principal de ce projet est de contribuer à l'augmentation du nombre d'utilisateurs actifs au Maghreb dans les projets Wikimédia en encourageant de nouveaux utilisateurs à participer à la mise en lumière des questions liées au droit à un environnement sain en participant aux projets Wikimédia dans les langues locales ou internationales, principalement l'arabe, le derja marocain, le tachelhit, la shawiya, le kabyle, dans les Wikipédiaس, les Wiktionnaires, Wikidata, et Wikimedia Commons.

A noter que c'est la première fois qu'une initiative conjointe aussi importante est organisée au Maghreb, où il existe plusieurs communautés linguistiques et culturelles et plusieurs projets.

Le projet se concentrera sur le renforcement des capacités des nouveaux utilisateurs et sur l'amélioration de leurs connaissances en matière de changement climatique et de droit à un environnement sain par le biais d'ateliers de formation et d'éditathons, qui seront organisés en partenariat avec des groupes locaux et des initiatives personnelles travaillant sur les droits environnementaux : enseignants, étudiants universitaires, wikipédiens, wiktionnaristes, photographes, etc.

Nous pensons que le réchauffement climatique a un impact significatif sur la région du Maghreb et que le droit à un environnement sain est une priorité absolue. La principale préoccupation de ce projet est le manque de contenu en ligne dans les zones locales et internationales sur la pollution et les dangers environnementaux au Maghreb. Nous pensons que le fait d'avoir un groupe consultatif permet d'abord d'organiser des activités de formation et de contribution, puis de souligner l'importance de l'implication des contributeurs dans la conduite des décisions futures sur le changement climatique et des projets informés.

Projet dédié à la Libye (Partenariat pour la formation et la contribution aux projets Wikimédia et Lingualibre : Wiktionary, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata) (hybride : nouveau groupe d'utilisateurs Wikimediens pour la Libye).

 
Wiktionary Contest

Nous prévoyons qu'à l'issue des ateliers de formation, les participants seront en mesure de combler les lacunes dans le contenu des sujets thématiques liés au droit à un environnement sain dans les projets Wikimédia. Le contenu des projets Wikimédia sera utilisé pour soutenir des articles sur les effets du changement climatique dans la région du Maghreb. Les participants pourront partager leurs connaissances et leur participation à Wikimédia Commons, ainsi qu'aux projets Wikimédia et lingualibre, sur les questions du droit à un environnement sain. Nous remercierons et encouragerons les participants en leur offrant des cadeaux. Améliorer les capacités des utilisateurs de notre groupe à piloter des projets similaires. À la fin de la campagne, nous voulons produire un document facile à consulter, qui présente les participants et résume l'impact de la campagne.

Notre objectif est de collecter des supports multimédias qui représentent les communautés diverses, tant sur le plan géographique que sur celui du genre, qui participent à la campagne. Veuillez soumettre des vidéos de 2 à 4 minutes que nous pourrons monter en une vidéo "d'impact" beaucoup plus courte à la fin de la campagne.

When creating videos or multimedia consider the following prompts:

  • Questions for editors and organizers:
    1. What did you contribute as part of the campaign?
    2. Why were you inspired to contribute to the campaign activities?
    3. What impact does open knowledge have on environmental or human rights issues in your context?
    4. What was exciting about this year’s edition of the Wiki for climate change 2023: Right to a Healthy Environment Campaign?
    5. What was exciting about this year’s edition of the Wiki for climate change 2023 Campaign?
  • For Organizers -- we also would appreciate recordings or photography of participants in activities during the campaign:
    1. Show participants “live” in events, whether as a screenshot of digital meetings or recording of a digital meeting
    2. Show participants in person, contributing to Wikimedia topics or conferring with each other on how to improve Wikimedia projects
    3. Show a celebration of successful contributions at your event.

Each event can submit up to two videos. Videos should be recorded in whatever language you are comfortable in. If it is a local or regional language that is hard to find translators for, please provide a transcript or captions with the video. For more widely supported international languages (i.e. French, Arabic, and Spanish) we do not need transcripts when submitting.

All contestants are free to work on any in scope topic of their choice irrespective of the country or language. The articles must include a significant contribution to win points see below Join the Challenge Scoring system and be reported below see Participants.

All articles must be contributed to between 00:01 on 17th April until 23:59 on 17th May 2023 (UTC) and submitted for points before 17 May 2023 at 23:59 UTC. For further terms for the challenge, see the foundation: Wikimedia General Contest Rules. We will review the points and contributions of winners for compliance with the point system below, and that they meet the quality standards of the community.

  • The top 10 contributors will get a certificate for participation from UN Human Rights and the Wikimedia Foundation.
  • Other prizes include:
    • 1st place -- $150 of goods from the Wikimedia Store
    • 2nd place -- $100 of goods from the Wikimedia Store
    • 3rd place -- $80 of goods from the Wikimedia Store
    • Next 3 top contributors in non-UN languages receive $50 in goods from the Wikimedia Store each.
  • the local competition Maghreb Environment runs from June 8 to June 24, The winners will be announced before June 30 by the jury committee Maghreb Environment, except for the Arabic wikipedia contest, and the gifts will be delivered locally to avoid airplane, so no more pollutions to our planet and our ecosystem.

Each major project has a total or maximum of $185 in gifts for winning contributors depending on the organizers. Three projects have been announced by their respective communities for the WikiMaghrebEnvironment contest, having a page for the contest, Wikimedia Commons, Shawiya Wiktionary , Arabic Wikipedia.

The Arabic Wikipedia jury has additional time, as there are over 263 articles to check before announcing the results, we will annonced the winners on 7 July 2023.
