Pick Metrics > 5. Survival

Survival = The number of new users who are making a specified number of edits after a specified number of hours after they register.
Number of Edits Sets minimum number of edits (threshold) that new users need to make in order to be counted as 'surviving'
Survival in Hours (sunrise hours) Number of hours after registration to begin counting edits
Sunset hours Number of hours after survival hours to measure if user is still editing. If left blank, output will give how many edits the user has made since the survival window started up to today.
