The Italian Minor Projects' Wikimedia User Group (ITM) it's a Wikimedia user groups in preparation with the purpose of promoting and share the minor projects in Italian language (the brothers projects of Wikipedia), attracting new contributors and collaborations.

Objectives

  • ITM was a communication place with the various Italian wiki projects defined minor (Wikiversity, Wikinews, Wikibooks, Wikivoyage, Wikisource and Wikiquote in Italian language) where every project must be heard and no project should be treated preferentially.
  • ITM has the mission of increase the number of readers and contributors of Italian minor wikis with various activity. For example:
    • the promotion of the projects with awareness and advertising campaigns (eg. facebook page)
    • the diffusion of the projects in the schools, in the universities and in the libraries and in other important place
    • inter project initiatives spread even to make known to Wikipedia users other projects

Propose events and initiatives that concern one or more projects

  • start collaborations with teachers.
