Request not funded

edit

Hello Pleclown,

The TPS program is designed to support travel costs for Wikimedians representing Wikimedia at events around the world. In the case of your proposal, your primary goal is not to represent Wikimedia, but to create content and capture learning for the movement about gaining recognition and access for Wikimedian sports photographers. Because this is outside the scope of the TPS program, the Committee is not able to fund this request.

However, we have been communicating with Kacie Harold, Program Officer at WMF for the Project and Event Grants and Gabrielle Marie, French Community Liaison for WMCH, about your request. Both have expressed willingness to consider this project for joint funding through a WMCH microgrant and WMF PEGrant. Gabrielle will follow up with you by email soon to discuss this option further.

Thank you for your work on behalf of the Wikimedia movement.

Warm regards,
