About me

My background is in grantmaking focused on improving access to higher education. I am a serial exchange student, starting as an AFSer in Belgium as a teenager, then studying cooperative workers movements while living in Argentina during university and most recently getting my Msc in Social Policy and International Development in London in 2012. My research at the LSE focused on ways to use storytelling evaluations to share knowledge and amplify the impact of small non governmental organizations. I joined WMF because I believe that access to information is a fundamental human right and a powerful driver of development. I am proud to work with an organization and a movement dedicated to this cause.

My work

I started working with the Grantmaking, Learning & Evaluation, and Education teams in March of 2014 to learn about the impact of funding distributed through Annual Plan and Project and Event Grants. Since then, I have had the incredible opportunity to conduct research and community interviews to develop toolkits to help program leaders share knowledge across the movement. I love hearing stories about projects from Wikimedia volunteers and I am here to support our communities efforts to document learning and share knowledge.
