Dear AurorePanda,
It appears from my review of your global user contributions that you are not an active Wikimedian, since your account is only 21 days old and you have made only 12 edits, 11 of which are to make this request. Since this program is focused on funding active volunteers, it is unlikely we can fund your request. However, I first wanted to ask you if you wanted to explain anything further about your volunteer activity.
I also wanted to ask you if you could explain further about your planned participation at this event with respect to Wikimedia projects. Can you answer these questions:
- Will you be giving a formal presentation at this conference? Has your talk been accepted? If so, we need you to email us confirmation of your acceptance.
- What will you discuss in your presentation in relation to Wikimedia projects? What will attendees learn about Wikimedia? What will they be able to do at the end of your talk that they could not do beforehand?
- Will you do any other kind of outreach and engagement besides giving a talk?
- Do you have a plan for follow-up engagement after the event is over?
