Accepted edit

Hello Sandiooses, thank you for submitting this final report. We have reviewed it and are happy to accept it. (Please note that your expense documentation was previously reviewed and accepted.) We appreciate the time and effort you put into the grant and have left some comments and questions below for you to review and respond to.

Comments and Questions edit

  • Congratulations on exceeding your goal for the number of articles created! It seems like all the good prep work the WiR did helped make this possible, so that’s a big success.
  • Like you noted, when you restrict events only to experienced editors, it narrows the pool of people who might come. Although, I think your results show that it doesn’t negatively impact the number of articles created! We’re sorry to hear that some participants were not able to attend because they lived outside Accra and lacked the funds to get there. Requesting grant funds to help transport experienced editors in the future would be a great way to remove barriers so more people can participate.
  • You noted that one thing that also reduced participation was that the events were rescheduled several times. Could you please elaborate on why that happened? Furthermore, what would you do in the future to ensure, to the best of your abilities, that events do not need to be rescheduled?

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this grant and the report. We have accepted this report and your expense documentation, and are approving you to keep the underspend of ¢121 and use it for mission-aligned activities. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 00:55, 15 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
