I live by observation, patience, and lots of trial and error, all of which manifested itself in high school when my friends and I created a Wikipedia entry for a made-up game: "Bubble Burning." While the article lasted no more than two weeks, I was humbled by the time and consensus English Wikipedia dedicated to disprove and--albeit sadly--delete it.
I was born and live on the land of the Ramaytush, Ohlone and Muwekma peoples in the Western United States, with a degree in French-Linguistics from New York University. You can usually find me either walking almost anywhere, watching movies at the Castro Theatre, or trying to imitate the call of a black phoebe at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. (It needs some improvement.)
As Grants Administrator, I support the Community Resources team to facilitate grants to individuals, groups, and organizations all around the world who are engaged with the Wikimedia projects and movement. Some of my projects include providing research and analysis for Annual Plan Grants, both Simple and FDC Annual Plan Grants and Rapid Grants.
