Latest comment: 8 years ago by Karthikndr

Hi Kiranravikumar, Karthikndr, and team. Thank you for this request! We are happy to support WLM in India. Please add the following details to the proposal and we can move forward with approval:

  1. Please add specific numbers to your measures of success.
  2. How many photowalks do you plan to do, where, and how many people do you expect to attend?
  3. One of the goals is to engage people that participated in previous WLM contests, but have not done any further editing. How do you plan to do this? Do you have ideas for how to engage them after this year's contest?
  4. Who will the calendars and t-shirts be given to?

  • Expense for all heritage walk has been reimbursed.
  • Domain Expense and other miscellaneous expenses.

Photo exhibition

edit

The organising team in consultation with the Indian community & International Wiki Loves Monument community via central mailing list has decided to conduct a photo exhibition for the top 10 winning images.

  • The first of such kind would be hosted in New Delhi, the capital of India at Dilli Haat.
  • This would be followed up with photo exhibition at Bhopal & Bengaluru.
  • Subsequently, more photo walks would happen as volunteers take interest in hosting the same.
  • The break-up for Delhi is INR 55000 (USD 850). This would lead to attainment of picture exhibition stock. Subsequent photo exhibition would only involve rent, freight and few other miscellaneous expenditure.
