Hi Mehman97, I have marked this proposal as ineligible, as the activities for the grant started (7 October 2019 1 October 2019) before this proposal was submitted (7 October 2019). I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 01:01, 18 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi I JethroBT (WMF), the contest began on October 1 only in Azerbaijan Wikipedia, and in other Wikipedia on October 7, so if this is a problem I can change the date. Unfortunately, if WMF don't finance this contest, it turns out that we have deceived the contestants who are still waiting for their prizes. Kindly, --Mehman 97 15:26, 18 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Mehman97: All Rapid Grant proposals need to be submitted before the activities and any grant-related spending are set to take place as we need to be able to review the proposal and budget to ensure that the activities and budget meet our eligibility guidelines, so we would not have funded this event on that basis alone. I am sorry that we could not communicate this to you sooner as our staffing capacity has been limited for the Rapid Grants program, but we will not be able to fund the contestants using funding from this program. It may be possible to reallocate funding from Wikimedia Georgia's current Simple Annual Plan Grant to cover these expenses. Please e-mail simple wikimedia.org if this is an option you would like to consider. I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 21:59, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi I JethroBT (WMF), now everything is clear. As for the financing of this proposal through the APG 2020 of Georgia, we will consider this proposal by the end of the year, when we will have an accurate picture of our budget expenditures. OR, we will include funding for this proposal in the 2021 APG. I think this will not be a problem. Kindly, --Mehman 97 22:08, 23 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
