Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Modjou/Furniture for headquarters (WCUG-CI)

Hi Modjou. Thank you for this request and your efforts to support the development of the user group in Côte d'Ivoire. It's great that the group is planning to organize more activities in the coming months. Unfortunately, we cannot fund the furniture requests. We encourage all groups to utilize free spaces or explore partnerships with aligned organizations who may be able to provide spaces, such as the Goethe Institute or other cultural institutions. If these spaces are not available, we are happy to fund costs to rent a space on an event-basis, for example in a co-working space or at a library with easy access to resources. We are happy to consider a grant request for this. Funding capital assets is risky both for the WMF and for the user group. We do consider this in the case of affiliates who have a longer experience in organizing successful events and partnerships, mostly under the Annual Plan Grants Program.
