- What will be your plan to engage new editors past the social media strategy?
- Do you plan to do any offline activities after the veteran wikimedians have left?

Hello WJifar (WMF) Thank you very much for approving my request. Surely this will help initiate a momentum of Wikipedia activities in and around Shivamogga.
Through this program we plan to create a group of active Wikipedians in Shivamogga. This group shall meet at regular intervals and take forward the work started. By regular meetings, we will not only keep up the momentum but also attract new members to the group. The place for the meetings can be arranged. The place can be the college where we plan to hold Editathon or any other place suitable to all in the group.
For all these activities we plan to use social media as well as local news and TV media. We have several local Kannada news papers which have considerable circulation and local television channels. I am sure these media will help us in our cause.

Total expenditure for the event was Rs 19,198/- We could save money as we got the services at a discounted price. This was due to the fact that this was philanthropic work and this is happening first time in Shivamogga. All the concerned charged us a subsidized price.
